In Medina County, more than 457 investigations of child abuse and neglect were conducted in 2011. Statistics show that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before the age of 18.

The Board of Directors for the Children’s Center of Medina County is comprised of residents from Medina County who are committed to the Center’s Mission: To create a respectful, safe and neutral environment that places priority on the needs of neglected and abused children while coordinating the services that promote healing and recovery.

Jennifer Graham (President): Jen is the Northeast Ohio Operations Manager for CenturyLink. She has served on the Children's Center of Medina County Board for three years and currently holds the position of Board President. In addition to the Children's Center Board, Graham serves on the board of the Medina County Women's Endowment Fund and serves on the board of trustees for the Team Lorain County economic development board and the Ashtabula Regional Growth Partnership. Graham holds an MBA from Ashland University and BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University. She and her husband, John, live in Medina with their son Zachary.

Kim Wilson (Vice President): Kim is the Director of Development for the Medina City Schools Foundation. Along with her responsibilities to the Foundation, Kim is the managing partner for MedinaCountyEvents.com and is an active community volunteer who serves on many non-profit committees. She is a true child advocate, and is a trained facilitator for the Stewards of Children sexual abuse prevention program. Kim lives in Montville Township with her husband, Chad, and two boys.

Mike Warner (Treasurer): Mike is the President of Warner Technology, Inc. Mike brings eleven years of public accounting and 20 years of technology experience to the Board. In addition to being the past Treasurer of the Cleveland Jaycees, member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and American Society of CPAs, Mike currently sits on the Board of Trustees for Leadership Medina County and Medina County Economic Development Corporation. Mike and his wife reside in Medina, Ohio and enjoy traveling, cross country skiing, golf and game night with their three grown children.

Toula Barlow: Toula is employed by PSI Associates, Inc. and serves as a school psychologist/ counselor for St. Francis XavierSchool (Medina), The Academy of St. Bartholomew (Middleburg Heights) and as a consultant for other school districts. She has served as a board member for The Children’s Center of Medina County for the past 1-1/2 years. Toula received her Ph.D. in Urban Education, specializing in Counseling and Psychology, through Cleveland State University. She holds an M.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Community Agency Counseling. Toula and her husband David have three children and reside in Medina, Ohio.

Beth Beal: Beth is a professional school counselor for Wadsworth City Schools and an adjunct professor at Malone University . She is on the Crisis Response Team for Medina County. Beth serves as the Spiritual Life Coordinator for the First Christian Church in Medina. She and her husband, Chris, live in Medina with their two daughters and foster children. They have been foster parents for eight years.

Robin Massaro: Robin is a Home Mortgage Consultant for Westfield Bank, FSB. With more than 30 years of mortgage and investment banking experience, Robin is a licensed Mortgage Originator through the NMLS. She is an active member of the Board of the Children’s Center of Medina County, and Medina County Board of Realtors, where she held previous leadership roles as a board member and with various committees. Robin and her husband Stan have two adult sons, two grandsons, and reside in Litchfield with their two rescue dogs, Baxter and Presley.

Sarah Toops: Sarah is a member of the law firm Critchfield, Critchfield and Johnston, Ltd., and she is admitted to practice law in California as well as in Ohio. She has regularly served as a volunteer and contributor to several local civic and legal service organizations and has recently joined the Children’s Center board. Sarah received her Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. She and her husband, Jon Flad, reside in Medina County.
